The Scarecrow Festival

The Scarecrow Festival is a fun little festival for the kiddies at thanksgiving point. Sad - I thought I got more pictures than this. It was rainy for a little bit while we were there, so maybe that is why the lack of pictures. They had all sorts of big bounce houses and big blow up slides that were really fun, before the rain! They even had a Jr. haunted house that wasn't to scary for the kiddies, and their specialty for dinner was Navajo tacos, yummy! We had a very fun time and next week we plan on going to The Barnyard Boo! That should be fun too!

Daxton has been potty training this week and the Lightening Mcqueen "Roos" were a big insentive! He got really excited when I mentioned that we should take a few pictures to send to grandma in his Mater roos and said "oh, I get my boots mommy!" and off he ran to grab the boots. So as you can see we have roos and boots! He is so skinny, but I swear he eats

more than Hutch sometimes. He also got to have a party when it all happened so Mcqueen cupcakes were in order of course. I'm excited about the potty training, one less diaper to buy and one less to change!

And I can't help but put a cute picture of Dace on here too. This is his favorite way to sit in his bumbo chair, purple was the only color they had, so purple it is!

Dace is a really happy baby and he smiles a whole lot, but you have to try really hard to get him to laugh out loud. Normally its just a big open mouth smile with no sound. Daxton is really the only person who can get him to laugh out loud. Of course I bet if I jumped around like Dax does, he might laugh at me too. Grandma and Grandpa are gonna love this one.

He is so smart for 2 1/2, He knows the song, but he actually knows the letters to. He loves to learn and loves his ABC puzzle! He also loves performing for the camera now.
