The boys of course love to do anything that grampa or dad are doing and especially so if it involves any kind of tool. Today we got the crib resized back up for a new baby! Dax actually did the whole thing (almost) by himself, with a little supervision, I was impressed.

Projects!!!

I have had a lot of projects for my dad to help me with (or rather, for him to do) - Lets face it, less than 2 weeks to delivery - I'm really no help! The room for the baby was one of them, I love the way it turned out, I'll have to repost when the furniture is back in its place and organized. light blue with a chair rail and a chocolate color on bottom. It was a bold move but I love the way it turned out!

Dace, he's is so sweet and I love his nap time hair too! I would venture to say he looks angelic here, but don't let it fool you!
I got dad to finish and hang the frame with one of my favorite pics of the boys in it really high up on the wall (I really can't trust my sense of balance at this point) What sense of balance?!

Big Boy Dace

I decided with the new baby coming in a short 5 weeks that I wanted to transition Dace into a big boy bed rather than after the baby gets here. He is very attatched to the crib and that made me a little nervous. But here he is Sleeping in a big boy bed now and not just that but on a bunkbed with his big bro right on top! No problems getting this to work, surprisingly. Its just a little funny to have him walking out by himself when he is done with naptime or waking up in the morning. He's funny about it to. They grow up so quick.

Dax was sooooooo excited to plan a birthday party for uncle Craig!..................mostly excited to eat the cake! oh and of course help him open his presents. We love having him so close to us and the boys just adore him.
