snow and more snow!

I laugh at this picture when I see it because Hutch just got through shoveling ALOT of snow and Dax wanted to build a fort using the brilliant snow in a bucket technique (taught by dad of course) but there was to much snow that Dax decided the best place to build the fort would be in the newly cleared out area generously donated by dad! (we are supposed to keep the sidewalks in front of our houses cleared of snow and stuff in our neighborhood)
Look at my little man posing for the picture, leg crossed and all! He is so funny, ladies watch out......I'm gonna be in trouble.

Uncle Craig for Thanksgiving!

The kids were really excited to hear that Uncle Craig was coming to stay at our house for thanksgiving and PLAY!!!!! They both just adore him, it is really cute. Dace cried last night when he had to go to bed because I had to separate him from uncle craig, and Dax got up this morning saying "Is uncle craig still sleepin down stairs? Does he know its daytime yet?"(meaning wake up time) I do have to say that I have tried to convince him atleast to shave the beard or better yet shave the beard and the head, he would shock people! But I think both will be sticking around. We love him anyways, maybe he is inspired by being in the land of zion? I do see some shocking similarities in his choice of long hair and beard?????

Happy Birthday DAX!

Its hard to believe that he is 4 already! time passes by so quick! We just had a small family party and the one friend he kept asking about (Arora) I think we have a small crush, it cute. Presents came from Gma and Gpa Sample and Harper which were very much appreciated! Dax loved them all! Elefun the game where they are trying to catch the butterflies that are blowing out was a hit for all ages.
